By examining the possible ways in which we in our physical bodies can connect with and access the underlying field of the universe, we could then confidently assert that, in conjunction with the other modes of accessing information in supra-sensory ways, we have a viable theory for how intuition works in all the various ways it presents itself. This chapter will look at the ways in which we could make the connection with the underlying field, thus accounting for the so-far-unexplained range of intuitive expression: knowing the future and the past.

The Bose-Einstein condensate, as we saw, is where the energy of the zero point field manifests. That would seem to be a particular problem for us humans, given that such a state of matter appears a few billionths of a degree above absolute zero, or –459.67°F (–273.15°C). However, a German-born British physicist, Herbert Fröhlich, who died in 1991, took an interest in the condensate, believing that such a state was possible in other conditions. In 1968 he predicted that a similar process, albeit at a much higher temperature than absolute zero, could concentrate all the vibrational energy in a biological protein into its lowest frequency vibrational mode. To put that another way, at room (or body) temperature, something very like the Bose-Einstein condensate would appear in living things. Such a condensate would, as in the Bose-Einstein version, consist of a differing form of matter, in that it would form a connection with either something similar to the zero point field or with that field itself. When this prediction was proved to be true via experimentation in 2015, such a state was named the Fröhlich condensate in his honor.

Such a condensate could well be the way in which biological organisms, as opposed to elementary particles, interact with the field first identified as the zero point. In the original zero point field, matter appeared and disappeared and formed the basics of the material world. In Fröhlich’s version, presumably the same processes occur, but only with regard to biological effects. Given that this new condensate has been detected experimentally, there still remains the problems of how to interact with such a field.

It is well-known that we are made up mostly of water, amounting to about 60%, according to the USGS. That figure hides the fact that the brain and heart are 73% water, the lungs 83%, the skin 64%, muscles and kidneys 79% and even bones are 31% water, and that our cells depend upon water for their biological processes.

Water is an intimate part of us and all around us and seems so familiar that we have tended to overlook some of its more interesting and unexpected properties. Dr. Jack Kruse, an American neurosurgeon, says that “Water allows the quantum dance to happen in all life, not just us.” And that is
